Inverness is about 18 miles East of Crystal River on U.S. 19 and roughly the same distance West of the Wildwood exit on I-75.
If you're coming from Orlando you may want to take the Florida Turnpike which ends in Wildwood.
From Gainesville you should take either I-75 South to Wildwood or go West to Williston in Levy County. Turn South on State Road 41, which will take you to Citrus County and Inverness.

Once in Inverness, finding the Old Courthouse shouldn't be a problem. Through downtown Inverness S.R. 44 and S.R. 41 merge to form Main Street. The Old Courthouse is clearly visible from Main Street and there's plenty of parking spaces behind the new courthouse next door.
